The inspiration for this brand was born from sleepless nights — sitting alone in my room, wondering if I’d ever be enough.
It took me 26 years to realize that I wasn't alone. After years of self-persuasion, I began to understand:
There are others lying awake at night, staring at the ceiling, wondering if they ate the right number of macros, wondering if they did enough to prove to themselves that they’re worthy of love — whatever their version of love may be.
I grew up without a real sense of community, believing that “Why ask for help when I can suffer in silence?” was normal. I didn’t let people in. I didn’t verbalize my problems. I didn’t know that was unhealthy.
But during the short time I spent travelling, I discovered something different — a tightly knit group of men and women who wanted to help, who wanted to talk, who created a loving environment built on struggle, growth, and mutual respect.
And I thought: Why isn’t there a brand that represents these people?
Why not create a brand identity that celebrates and honors hardship? Something you can wear — unafraid to sweat in, to get dirty in, to hurt in, to adventure in. Something made to be used and abused.
Thus, the creation of Abide Abandon.
